United Arab Emirates
Travel Guide

UAE has been my home twice. I moved to Abu Dhabi in 2016 and again in 2023 to Dubai. What made me keep coming back is how incredible it is that you have such a lively city in the middle of the desert with so much to do and see.

Dubai is such a tourist hub that if you are transiting, I recommend staying here for a few days and splitting your travel time.

I love this place because I travel for a living, and being close to so many countries with just a short flight away is why I call this place home.

Let me know if you are ever around!

Best time to visit

Since the UAE is in the desert, I recommend avoiding coming here from May to September in the summer. The best time to visit is November to March. The temperature is comfortable at 20 – 30 degrees, but it can be cold at night, so bring a jacket.

Safety

This is the safest place that I have ever been to. You can leave your valuable items on the table at a restaurant, go to the toilet, and return and have all your items still there. As a woman, I can go out in the middle of the night and walk around without feeling in danger. This is why I recommend all my fellow female solo travellers to come here. All your safety fears are gone.
